Police Scotland Greater Glasgow Divisional Violence Reduction Unit Challenge Coin

This challenge coin was commissioned for the Greater Glasgow Divisional Violence Reduction Unit (DVRU). This unit are responsible for a much more proactive approach to policing the streets of the Greater Glasgow division, which sees them tackle street crime from drug dealing to antisocial behaviour. The design features 4 aspects of the unit. A NATO Helmet, used during protests and raids etc, a dirt bike similar to that used by the unit, a taser which various officers carry, and a baton used to knock in doors.
