Police Scotland Disruptive Effects Officer Challenge Coin

This challenge coin was commissioned for police Scotlands disruptive effects officers. Disruptive effects officers are officers trained to carry out “disruptive” tactics during operations, such as project servator, in order to spot anyone acting suspiciously who may be of threat to the general public. The design features a raven which is often the callsign used by units, with the coin being in silver as it “blends in”, which is what the officers do when they are deployed.
